It's rather amusing that a lot of these people have heralded decentralization for years, then when something with blatantly superior infrastructure comes along they not only don't move over, but they mock and censor it. So apparently all that talk was just a bs slogan to support the Fediverse "tribe"

It's more forgivable with ppl like the Mitra dev who are actively working to make ActivityPub do the same things, I can at least respect his opinion, even though I think it's silly to work on obsolete tech when Nostr already basically does everything Fedi does better, all it's lacking is client support.
