A lot of people haven’t thought about living in anything but liberal order, and it shows. I grew up in a household of Soviet refugees, and subconsciously focused much of my life on creating safety nets to avoid going through anything like what they had experienced. At 35 (with the help of a lot of therapy) I feel *better* prepared, but I expect many aren’t ready to live in a world where the unease and unsteadiness hits so close to home all the time.
