It is highly frustrating that you can get an M4 Pro Mac mini with 64 GB of RAM but you can’t spec a MBP similarly. M4 Pro on MBP maxes at 48 GB. You have to jump to the *highest* M4 Max offering to get 64 GB. Base M4 Max only comes with 36 GB. No upgrade possible.
This is a really weird set of tiering. I have an M1 Pro MBP with 32 GB and the only resource I need more of is RAM. But I’m not going to buy a $3K new laptop to go from 32 to 48.
