I think Israel has over-proven that if you fuck with them, it means overkill. But the idea that they’ll destroy Hamas is pure bullshit. Netanyahu himself wrote, in the book I read by him, (paraphrasing) that you need to kill 2 or 3 generations of terrorist families or their children will become martyrs. If Hamas agreed today to a ceasefire, they’d just scurry back into the cracks and plan the next attack. They’re lying roaches using innocent civilians as shields, oh, sorry, martyrs. All so dumb.
