Trade-off situation this evening, hearing that the snow turns to rain at three or four am.
There's a good 25cm down out there already, so do you shovel that while it's light and fluffy or hope the rain melts it? Also if freezing rain is possible, keeping a snow cover down avoids the glassy driveway.
Choose a half measure, shoveling the steps and walkway just now, and leaving the driveway until tomorrow when the weather breaks. Will probably be snowblower-worthy then.
