It’s funny but something about the way you replied “pls …” felt disapproving so I dug deeper and found this old thread where you discuss this stuff with some other experts including Ethan.
There’s definitely something about the tendency to lower the skepticism bar for fields outside your sphere of expertise. I can’t imagine any non expert successfully navigating the minefield that is neuroscience and vision research without guard rails!
