What do you think about a P2P version of bioRxiv that wouldn't require centralized funding? Sharing the PDFs should be easy with current technology, but the way I understand content sharing, you still always need some central and searchable index of what is available, which someone has to host / maintain / pay for / be responsible for. Is there a way to spread the indexing function over all the nodes?
