I found a greasemonkey script that fixes this and have linked it. Don't bother with MO2, Vortex, what have you. they use the official API and that means it's dogshit.

If you want a modpack from nexusmods (I don't but they monopolized bethesda modding) then you need to download it via "Vortex" which is a mod manager application.

Nexusmods developed this program to sort the mods and to download a bunch of large files sequentially. The latter actually already existed and it's called curl. They didn't know, so they made something that doesn't work correctly at all. Great job guys! I think I'll buy premium so you can get paid for filehosting other peoples' work!
