Have 7.6kw Tesla system + 2 x Powerwalls.
Bought before I was mining and it is sized to cover close to 100% of my home electric use (without mining).
I now run up to 3x Whatsminers, so approx 9kw.
The mining use absolutely dwarfs home use and solar production, but solar still offsets. It is grid tied, so all flows where needed, as needed.
My biggest help from the system comes from the TOS billing here in Las Vegas, where in summer from 1-7 pm rates go 8x. I use automations to shut down my miners during this time as well as A/C. Then my house runs off batteries and I sell my solar to grid at about $0.32/kw for those 6 hrs.
Because I use this optional rate plan I also benefit from much cheaper rates during off peak hours.
