okay it took like eight hours but I finally got my telecaster fret-dressed, shielded, re-strung, and set up
shout out to the conductive "shielding" paint that does jack squat to reject noise but does a fantastic job of preventing the copper shielding tape from adhering to the guitar
shout out as well to all the solder joints that are precision-engineered to be as big a pain in the dick to remove as possible
