The Communities are inspired by the topical categories you'd find in a newspaper, so we've tried to fill them with experts and posts on certain subjects. We hand-built the relays which pull content in and the filters which keep everything on topic and safe.

It's not always perfect, but we're pretty proud of what we've done using the limited technology of Mastodon to create these workaround topical feeds.
