I’ve just read Prophet Song by Paul Lynch. A powerful & moving book. I’d say it’s a ‘must read’ for our times. Will stay with me.
The writing style (no para breaks, dialogue not in quote marks) took time to get into but it gave a real sense of what the character was experiencing.
