unless the dnc keeps forgiving them πŸ™ˆπŸ˜

or doing like the uk does and offering 'payment holidays'

it seems to be a new tactic to avoid big bank routs like 2007 - in the uk it's pretty easy now to get a 'mortgage holiday'. you just call the bank and say you can't pay, and instead of repossessing the house like they used to, they put you on an 'interest only' payment (so the bank still gets it's pound of flesh) until you can recommence payments.

my gut says they'll extend this sorta chicanery to all financial products (eg student loans, credit cards etc).

this way, they still get their interest payments, but the paper part - the loan itself, is extended forever...

the system will claim they still have a "well-functionining economy", bitcoin will continue to stairstep upwards, hard assets will continue to rise, the gulf between the 'haves' and the 'have nots' will widen inexorably.

this 'collapse' could last decades, especially once they roll out CBDC and 'personalised quantitative easing' to quell and stupify the masses

what a mad world we live in eh πŸ™ˆπŸ˜
