Although it’s difficult to read the X-axis accurately, I can’t see anything other than weak steady recovery in the little time the Tories have left. To get a bounce in sentiment I think they’d need a detectable inflexion — slow, modest improvement doesn’t cut it. They’d be better off placing their faith in a nice sunny summer to lift confidence.
