Nostr is a giant step forward.
However, for now, I will play the skeptic role. Till the user interface and setup become super simple, mass adoption is unlikely.
Typical regular users will not manage relays and long public/private keys etc. Hopefully user experience becomes simple over time.
It is exciting in the same way as open source software or running bitcoins node is exciting. It is a cool idea for sure. Tech oriented users will love it. But, mass adoption is a different ballgame.
