I also blame devs trying to make art, not saying a videogame cant be on par with that, but rather that if youre main goal is soley art the end product will be a pretentious piece of crap that no one enjoys, maybe if the devs had less retard art takes we would have less flops, most good "art" games werent made with that as the goal, but rather a side effect that happened bc the dev just wanted to make a proper game above all
