I’ve been burned by this a few times but— if you collaborate on an Apple Notes document with someone else— make sure you’re in sync about the “Automatically sort checked items” setting.
I don’t like the a checklist to re-sort like that, but if your pal has that checked, it will ruin your list. Be careful out there.
