I wonder why aboriginal peoples don't have teams of highly specialized sauciers (sauté chefs) on hot stand-by at all times. You would think they would need lots of sauces of all kinds for the roots, the tubors, and the chewy parts of the yeasty carcasses that constitute the bulk of their diet.
