I always like to keep this in mind when I see the phrase, "Save the planet."

We mere humans aren't anywhere near destroying the planet. We might wipe out ourselves and much of current life on it, but we can't destroy the planet.

And, we can't even wipe out all life on the planet.

So think of it instead as - Save our own lives. Understand?
