Then I walked another 100 feet and realized these "bumblebees" are everywhere.
A dad and his teen kids were shrieking and laughing as the zipped around them.
He pulled a great dad move and pretended to catch one of them and then freak out the kids. 🤣🤣🤣
Turns out they're not bumblebees, but rather big ass carpenter bees that can be a bit of a nuisance burrowing into the sides of houses.
