Re the NY Times' decision not to make editorial-page endorsements in local political races --
Good! Now do it for national races.
Instead of telling folks how to vote, provide them with the information they need to make informed choices Then organize it all in a way that provides context.
But that would require more, you know, journalism -- about the issues, rather than incessant horse-race and polling stories.
The biggest newsroom in the western hemisphere could do this if it cared.
