Sorry for this answer that you don't want to hear but yes, "should have invested into BTC", not all your available amount if you wanna play with other coins.
But you seems to be new in this and year past have proved one thing, BTC is here since a very long time, that's why it is a reference and even used by country gov. to stack value.
Now that point is said.
We don't have a crystal ball, and perhaps on the crypto ones you have quoted, one will grow much more than the other. But it is not the first time and after a middle/long term it will just be legacy like all the others.
The only crypto that has some "long" time with BTC was ETH, because it have bring smart contract and many "new" interesting features for industry.
The lesson is that every crypto is a risked invest, so play what you can play. and for the BTC it is different because it is now a big trustable value since many years.
