Continued our "Dragon of Icespire Peak" adventure last night. Having cleared the dwarven excavation site of oozes, the party stood face-to-face with a group of orcs... and another figure? It was Nawz, the half-Goliath younger half-brother of Wylston, their firbolg cleric.
They learned that months before, Nawz had bested the orc chieftain in battle and had taken his place with their eldest brother, Wart-Stew, as his right-hand. However, when the white dragon came and displaced them from their stronghold atop Icespire Peak, Wart-Stew was killed trying to save the young orclings.
Nawz offered to let Wylston join the tribe, but Wylston declined. Instead, they agreed to let the orcs have the ruins as a new stronghold. Having evacuated the protesting dwarf archaeologists, they all returned to Phandalin.
