"content": "Andrena niveata, a micro-mining bee. With two beautiful white bands on its face.\nhttps://www.inaturalist.org/observations/165385974\n\nTurns out I unwittingly reported, one year ago almost to the day, the only observation in the UK, and one of the 4 observations in the whole of Europe, the other 3 being in Belarus. Thanks to the anonymous iNaturalist identifier for the ID – I had only narrowed it down to subgenus Microandrena.\n\n#iNaturalist #Hymenoptera #nativebees #bees #entomology #insects #Andrena #MicroAndrena\n\nhttps://media.mathstodon.xyz/media_attachments/files/112/077/683/599/754/317/original/c512c703d5e220cd.png",
