Yeah. When your best game is a decent 3D platformer you've messed up badly. We're closer to the end of the PS5 life span than we are to the start, and yet by the same point in both the PS3 & PS4's life span there were many, many amazing games already out. By this time for the PS3, Demon souls was already out, GT 5, infamous, killzone 2 & 3, littlebigplanet, ratchet and clank tools of destruction, resistance, ridge racer, uncharted series, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and way more.
And the PS3 was memed for having no games.
