This is a problem linked to human nature. Where the gods of necessity and material possessions hinder the exaltation of the spirit and of life.
Where we could take the easy way out buying 200 shirts just to get 10. But I could see us returning to handcrafting things that will get sold as an experience rather than just for a material need.
