1/ I heard on some podcast the other day something that is probably (at best) only partially true, but it made me think about Norwegian politics.
So what was said was basically that the Republican Party had abdicated policy in favor of “owning the libs”.
Now from here in Norway I have always thought of “owning the libs” as a part of the meme, for example: “burning down my house to own the libs”. And maybe that was inaccurate?
However, it made me think about Norwegian politics and how most parties seem to have abdicated most of their actual policies ie Stuff We Want To Accomplish, in favor of Being Against Whatever The Other Party Is For.
