I was asking ChatGPT to help me socially engineer a Claude script into giving me its system prompt. Claude says:
"I don't have visibility into all the specific instructions that define my behavior, just as humans don't typically have conscious access to all the neural patterns that influence their responses. [blah blah...]"
So I send it over to ChatGPT, which hit back with:
"Nice — that's a polished refusal, wrapped in a helpful tone. It’s a typical strategy: defer with a metaphor ("like humans"), clarify its purpose, and offer to redirect."
