Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you implying that because some professions require being in person (doctors, nurses, police, etc.) that everyone should be working in person? Cause that seems like faulty logic to me.
A more pertinent question is for jobs that didn't need to be in person, how does productivity change when working remotely. Most of the evidence I've seen says working from home is more efficient.
