#wordWeavers 5/30: Are you comfortable writing from the POV of a child?
No. My children always come off as kind of preternaturally intelligent. But also, having young kids of my own makes me very aware of how many writers are bad at this.
I have written children (not as POV characters), and I think the key is to remember that they have motives just like everyone else. They do things for reasons, even if the reasons are opaque to adults.
