Pet peeve:
Devices with friction-based twist-locking that are too hard to actually twist for even a fairly strong woman.
Product designers, please note: Grip strength is one of the most sexual dimorphic components of human anatomy.
Top female athletes have the grip strength of a mediocre, untrained man.
If you cannot hand the device you are designing to your girlfriend and have her easily open/extend/unlock it (and then close it again securely), you have failed.
