Use whichever account or accounts you find yourself most comfortable with. Eventually Mastodon and/or Flipboard will let you link them together and present a single persona to the world. Or keep them separate and show a different side of yourself at each - the choice is yours.

I'm using software that lets you link separate accounts on different software together, but there has been zero interest in it, so it's probably not what most people actually want (despite them saying this is what they want). So consider that a data point.  

Just be you and use whatever tool or tools bring out the best in you. And the people  who want to follow you or a particular side of you will find you there.
