I never quite got the hang of the podcast. I had quality, professional equipment and my production was good. Fun sound design. Good lead ins and outs. But as one listener put it, “Oh, I thought you’d be a lot more angry.”
I was too calm on the mic, almost low key, compared to how I wrote, which was like I was gnawing on the chair and chewing nails.
It was likely self consciousness as I was at home. You have to actually raise your voice even when you’re mic’d. I practically whispered. 2/
