I had my first look through someone's mirrorless camera (a Canon) viewfinder the other day. Bright sunny day. Nice image, with lots of exposure and focus info.
But it was all still quite reminiscent of early 2000s electronic viewfinders - oversharpened, not especially spectacular definition, not very good colour fidelity, etc.
How are the viewfinders for focusing in night sky conditions, I wonder?
