Today I learned that Jet Li had to stop martial arts due to degenerative disc disease. I'm grateful to him for his openness about this.
I was once extremely active. I used to cycle around 120-180 miles a week, now, somedays I can barely move the pain is so bad. I'm a talented potter and sculptor too but I had to step back from that as well.
Knowing that others have experienced this helps me feel validated in what I've been through.
