On the day that its former wrestling coach Jim Jordan failed in his bid to become speaker of the US House of Representatives, The Ohio State University filed for a dismissal of the lawsuit against them by the numerous collegiate athletes, including members of that wrestling team, who were sexually abused by university physician Richard Strauss. In addition, the university has asked that those abused athletes be forced to pay the university’s legal costs.
