Every year for two weeks, the Sterakhan people will hold parades, carnivals and public events to celebrate Sterakhan independence and to honor the Sterakhan Peoples Movement which formed to protest and revolt against the attempted colonization and establishment of a puppet government from the Lstvun Republic.
The event is known for it's use of the colors red and gold; Red being the proud color used to represent Sterakhans common landmark which is it's incredibly plentiful forests of Redwoods.
