Sadly, and reinforced by Bigoted Pharmacists who refuse to dispense it:
* Only about 30% of psychiatrists feel comfortable prescribing contraception
* Stated barriers: limited training in residency (no emphasis), limited drug-drug interaction education
Even other psychiatrists have argued it's not in the scope of our practice. Guess reproduction doesn't have any interplay with mental health then. FFS.
