I don't like it, but I try to make peace with it.
if the best I'm ever going to do is a low status, "email caste" job at Wal-Mart, then I'm going to structure my existence as such.
I'll still "work hard" (because my Whiteness demands it), but I'm no longer interested in killing myself for a carrot that no longer exists. when my work day is concluded, I'll return to my modest home, play World of Warcraft, then go to bed so I can do it again tomorrow.
