I've realised that the three things I use #root for on #Android are:
🚫 Ad blocking. Which I guess I could do with a VPN based blockers?
📲 Call recording. Google have killed that off entirely, only available in custom ROMS.
🔄 Swapping the bottom buttons to be ⏹️ 🔘 ◀️. My neuroplasticity can't cope with the "wrong" way.
Which pretty much means I *need* #LineageOS.
But that means:
💳 No Google Pay.
🏦 Most banking apps don't work.
Wondering if the detriments of a new phone outweigh the benefits?
