#Minneapolis event today (January 18), the Day of the Forest Defender - a mutual aid and community gathering at New City Center, 3104 16th Ave S, from 6-8pm.
In addition to an altar for Tort and other fallen forest defenders, offerings include (bring or recieve!): fresh food and groceries - hot soup to go - winter supply drive - n95 masks and rapid tests to take home - posters/zines/stickers - harm reduction supplies. Community reflections on Tort's life and the #StopCopCity struggle will happen 7:30-8pm.
The event is inside and masks are required/provided. Wheelchair accessible, bathrooms and childcare on site.
