I've had three long weeks to think about what's wrong with our fediverse model. I've concluded that nothing is wrong with it that can't be easily fixed. The real problem is tens of millions of users that Apple convinced years ago to expect praise limited features and utility in return for Speak 'n' spell Simplicity. Our entire culture suffers from the same fucking problem. So if we fix it in the 'verse, maybe we can fix some larger issues too.
