"retirement planning" i.e. how much to save and how to grow the savings is a crazy thing. What if you do all that and then get cancer. Or worse, you survive a stroke but with loss of the use of one half your body. All that planning goes to shit FAST with the cost of treatment and/or 24/7 skilled nursing.
