Since I had to lose tens of gigabytes worth of data just to get back into MY phone, I am no longer risking using SimpleX nor XMPP in any capacity, with the former being eschewed in their entirety (sorry to both

The Beave (npub1q6y…t3sh)) and the latter being used on PC exclusively until I decide on when to get rid of both accounts down the road (on mobile, I was using Conversations while using xmpp.earth solely on PC originally).
Threema is on thin fucking ice now, with a decision as to whether I begin to use Proton Drive (or do local backups FAR more often now) pending.
With the latest and "greatest" Android update, following a restart of my phone it has decided that the PIN I had used THREE HOURS PRIOR is no longer correct; I am freaking the fuck out trying to get back into my phone, and kicking myself for fucking restarting it now.
If I have to reset the phone just to regain access, I'll not only be losing important data, but it will also push me to cease using three to four services in their entirety. God, I fucking HATE Google.
