Cynthia is also the last Pokemon Champion I actually remember being *challenging*, and not just due to Garchomp being OP - her whole team is actually really good and well-balanced. I think it's especially neat how Cynthia opens up with a Spiritomb (which has NO weaknesses in Gen 4) in order to wear your team down early.
