Other than making it XML complete, as a hypertext format, it's pretty good. It's just awfully hard to twist it into a tool for building highly interactive apps, so you end up with JS glueing on CSS \u0026 JS \u0026 all the browser compatibility stuff \u0026 tooling. It's ludicrously expensive (in people time) to build and maintain pretty simple things in the eco system.",
