A Palestinian refugee from Lebanon told the Middle East Monitor that he was falsely accused of doing a Nazi salute by the German media.
Mahmoud Abu El-Nasr was pictured in pro-Israel newspaper Bild with a straight arm pointing up but he says he and other protesters were simply trying to cover a journalist’s camera.
Mahmoud’s picture with his arm in this position was published in the Bild Zeitung without any context.
