This old cartoon about Euro stereotypes reminds me of a radio report I did about 14 years ago into why Denmark and Sweden were first to decriminalise pornography.
I learned it was an accidental result of getting rid of laws that were thought to restrict artistic freedom.
Suddenly lots of porn publishers appeared in Sweden and Denmark, and those countries got the reputation internationally for being sexually wild.
