Block hooks are what IndieBlocks uses for the “insert Facepile block automatically” option (but you knew that). If you want decent control over margins and the like, you should probably still adapt your comments template, though.
Does WP 6.6 (?) come with support for “standard” spacing and font sizes? I really should look into that (and update my theme).
Too bad I’ve got work, too (and am painting my house).
