I feel like we're living in a near-future dystopian #ScienceFiction. If you pitched the story as a movie or TV series it would be as an absurdist dramedy:
- A demented old man is running for prez who's a rapist, racist, fascist, & a convicted felon.
- The other candidate, some good attributes but supports #WarCrimes #genocide
- News orgs portray this as "normal"
- Voters mostly ignore the genocide (I imagine as "good" Germans did during the Nazi years)
- Oh. And the planet is on fire.
